raise / raised / raised (transitive verb)
rise / rose / risen (intransitive verb)

Raise là một ngoại động từ, thì phải có một tân ngữ. Còn Rise (nội động từ) thì không có tân ngữ

Cần nhớ:
Raise + O

• Khi bạn raise cái gì đó, bạn nâng nó lên một vị trí cao hơn hoặc gia tăng nó:

- He raised his head from the pillow
- We were forced to raise the price

• Khi người hay vật rise, chúng di chuyển từ một vị trí thấp hơn sang một vị trí cao hơn:

- She rose from the chair.
- The helicopter rose into the air.

Rise còn có nghĩa là "gia tăng về số hay lượng"
- Costs are always rising.
